To better meet the growing demand of consumers in the U.S., Wholeberry worked with agricultural experts to ensure the efficiency and safety of our products. We directly source our goji berries from the Ningxia Farmer’s Union,where they plant their crops according to USDA organic standard guidelines. With these standards set, the farmers in Ningxia were producing pristine crops to meet the exact quality expected from today’s consumers.

Low Temperature Hot Wind Drying

Our organic goji berries go through a machine drying process rather than being sun dried. Moreover, this is to ensure the cleanliness and lack of contaminants entering the fruit. Machine drying is actually a more lengthy and expensive process. However, the health and safety of our customers is more important to us as a company.

First Sorting

First, all berries are machine sorted in order to make sure that there are no defective berries or contaminants that snuck through the process.

Hand Sorting

For the second round, we hand-sort our organic goji berries piece by piece. This ensures that errors that go undetected are now spotted.

Electrostatic Hair Metal Detection

We do a final inspect to ensure that no excess particles are mixed in with the goji berries.
